The Willows (Widwed091024)

I managed to get my blip just before those clouds decided to deposit their rain onto the village.  This is the entrance to our most recent housing development, called the Willows after the trees which grow in the damp ground off to the left where rain water flows into the river Dene?

The builders did enlarge and strengthen the drainage channel where it passes under the road I was standing on, and the current flood warning for the Dene does not include this area so I suppose they will be ok.

I'll do my usual thing for Wide Wednesday and star/comment on your entries as I see them and sort out the awards late tomorrow: Thursday evening UK time.

In other news ... I bought a 12 month Adobe subscription via Amazon yesterday, activated it with my Adobe account address, and realised nothing had changed.  Previously the next payment date just moved 12 months further away.  Called Amazon today and they have accepted my 'story' and have said they will refund the charge.  Think I'll wait and see what happens before clicking their feedback link.
