Hooray - Chris Froome has become the second Briton to win the Tour de France. Cycling is still on the up - but poor Mark Cavendish was 'pipped' on the line for the sprint finish on the Champs Elysees. Won the last 4 though !

This is my bike - which will be back in action tomorrow for the unofficial Tour de Newcastle. It could end up being a very fast sprint finish across the Town Moor! I will get my green jersey out just in case - no polka dots though, as it is pretty flat around here.
