Men against boys

I stayed late at work waiting for Aaron and Geoff to arrive for the walk up to the Cae Ras*. 

This was quite literally men against boys with a couple of Wolves U21s playing in shirts without the betting sponsor, seemingly because they were under 18...not that they looked it though. Wrexham on the other hand were a confident League One side and the first half was basically just ball in Wolves' half of the pitch, with the exception of this free kick that went over the bar.
The second half was more of the same although the kids did knock it about between them quite nicely and carved out a couple of half chances but the final score wasn't flattering.

Still, it could have been worse. Our other option for football tonight was at The Meadow where Shrews lost 4-0.
