Hadrian's Wall from Housesteads Fort

This afternoon we took a drive along Hadrain's Wall, a very short distance from where we live. We stopped off at Housesteads Fort which we haven't visited for some time. It was quite overcast but still warm. This shot was taken from the top of the hill at Housesteads looking east along a fairly intact section of the wall.

I still have a week of backblips to catch up with in addition to lots of viewing of journals. Apologies that I'm a bit behind but look forward to catching up in the next few days!
