Blazing Sky
I had an appointment after work and I stopped at this beach on my way home. This is West Meadow beach. It is the same shoreline as Cedar Beach, which is closer to me and where I usually go, but I have yet to find sea glass here.
I walked the beach looking, but the only thing I found was a lot of what I thought were dead horseshoe crabs. I have seen them at Cedar Beach too and was a bit concerned. I googled it and found that what I was seeing was just their shell. Apparently horseshoe crabs shed their shell and grow a new softer one. In the lifespan of 10 years this could happen 10 times.
My brother is back from Greece tonight. I know my dad is happy to have him back in the house. He feels better knowing there is someone there with him and my mom, event though my sister and I live less than 10 minutes away and check on them often. I will stop by there tomorrow after work and see them.
