ANATOMY OF AN INTERCEPTION

Two high school football players jumping high to catch a forward pass from the home team (dark jerseys). Football lesson #1......if you're going to throw a pass to a receiver be sure the receiver is farther downfield than the defender (white jersey) OR never throw a pass to a five foot nothing receiver being guarded by a 6 foot something defender.  The result will not be pleasant.

Extra:  This is what happens when the "other guy" is taller than your guy...or at least can jump higher than your guy.  The defender caught the ball but it was of no consequence.  They turned the ball over to the home team after 4 downs and the "good guys" scored....again.  The dark jerseys were a much better team.  They won 41-0 and remain unbeaten on the season.
