Hartley Bay

It's an early blip from me today as I've only 20 minutes before dinner and then it's back to class until 9pm, followed by the get to know everyone "pub quiz", followed by sorting my feild notebook before bed. As I'll probably have a number of "look at this interesting rock face" blips this week I thought today I'd treat you to a slightly more interesting shot of a light house from Hartley Bay.

Seen a lot of rocks today. Did some colouring in to learn about sequence stratigraphy when we got back to the labs. The long days are really tiring me and we've only had one so far. I've been given the option to go on the less physical trip tomorrow instead and I think I'll probably take that option just so I last the week.

Loving the zoom on my new camera.

Hope you've all had a lovely weekend.

EDIT

After testing out the new cameras fantastic x18 optical zoom on this shot, I came across this little guy on the way to my evening tutorial so thought I'd test out the macro too.
