A day of wins!

The first positive was the delivery of my new shoes. I had to buy them on line as a couldn’t get the green ones in my size. I’ve been a size 7 for many, many years, now I’m a 41! I’m pleased that clothes haven’t adopted this sizing, it would be disheartening!!

They fit well and are comfortable. I’ve now completed my green outfit, a new colour for me.

The missing copy of my hospital letter has arrived, just to wait for Brian’s.
Then a text about a couple of legal documents, pay up and we will send them.

I thought that it was done for the day, but then another drain man called to the house next door. The underlying cause of the blockage and flood was stones and gravel that had broken up and been pushed down it the drain needing to be removed via our manhole cover. 30minutes of faffing about in the rain wasn’t fun. A dripping waterproof, wet socks and cold feet were my outcome!!

I must apologise for my delay in catching up on my blips, I have great intentions every day, but time runs faster than me :0(
