Callicarpa berries

This unassuming shrub always produces these gorgeous purple berries in the autumn. Started the day at the village hall where the NHS had set up a stall providing Covid and Flu vaccines for the over 75’s. I had both done and so much better to have it done there than taking up an appointment at the busy village surgery. I was due to go out for tea but it was pouring with rain so I cried off and had a restful afternoon.
