feeling famous!

i think this is the tail end of Storm Kirk.
apparently the vaccine allowed me to sleep till midday - a good result!
visit from Pete who suggested we need a new kitchen tap and fixed our loos.

(i put an update re the rescue of yesterday on yesterday's blip.
however the TMK assures me that there was no activity near Swyre Head or Scratchy Bottom at the time he was overlooking from Hambury Tout.  

this would not explain why there were so many emergency vehicles up our road - including police.  TMK reckons that there were two separate events and sadly, it's most likely that this one was a suicide.  they never report these.)

update:
have just spoken to the coastguard and am pleased to be allowed to tell you that it was a person unconscious in the water.  

anyone reading this who visits this area - there are tides and a strong undertow - people do die here.  please treat the sea with respect because it doesn't know you and you don't know it.  the sea just does what it does.
