Two out of three weather forecasts showed the rain clearing around 2 o’clock. They were wrong. It wasn’t heavy but there was no incentive to stay out longer than necessary.

I had a birthday card to post which I’d put a second class stamp on so I wanted to get it in the post box today. Bought a few groceries too.
