Alfie

There is nowhere in my flat that is safe from Alfie except inside the microwave. That means that I have no plants and I need to give away any flowers I'm given and it isn't worth having any breakable ornaments.

This morning I had the second session of my sewing machine course and we were doing seams and hems. Next week we are going to make something - a tote bag - what an exciting prospect! I'm boiling up to buying a sewing machine. 

It's a desperately dreich day with cloud down to ground level so I'm very happy sitting on the sofa with Lexi on my lap and Alfie beside me.
