Gently down the stream

Weather

Today has been another day of dark skies, flashes of sunlight and absolutely torrential rain - so no way was I going to try to blip birds in the reserve, I stayed in town and every time the heavens opened I snuck under cover.

This is Little Minster Street, on the corner of Minster Lane .  Isn't that sky fantastic?  And in extras is the little church of St Swithun's-upon-Kingsgate. It sits on top of the Kingsgate arch and is where medieval pilgrims used to give thanks for their safe arrival in the City.  I don't think I've ever seen it in more beautiful light, but as it's featured in my journal before, I've put it in as an extra.

Okay, that's me.  Have a good evening  xx
