String theory

Although I knew I have hardly picked up this guitar in the last 12 years or so, since moving to Spain, it just occurred to me that I probably hadn't changed the strings since I bought it years before that. The only positive thing to say about them is that they're not as rusty as my playing. So a quick check on string changing technique on Youtube, then off to the music shop for a new set of D'Addarios. I also found some guitar tuning applications for my Android phone which seem to work pretty well. Probably better (for me at least) than using my tuning fork. So in theory I'll have a better sounding guitar shortly.
