Goldfinch on TV?

After yesterdays marathon of picture taking I gave the camera a rest today, other than taking shots to try and identify this bird singing merrily on a neighbour's TV aerial this afternoon.

It turned out to be a Goldfinch. Not sure if he thought he was on TV or just auditioning, but he certainly got chosen.

Spent the afternoon with the grandchildren messing about with 'george' the water sprinkler that featured in the blip during the week. They, and we, had great fun, but it was too wet to take photos during it. So it is a memory that will be treasured, even if not captured on film.
