Harlow Carr

Such a lovely day today, we did some jobs and then headed over to Harlow Carr to see the autumn colours (and have lunch at Bettys!)
The stream side is looking very good. We noticed some info boards about pollen when we walked around and as we were leaving were stopped by a gentleman from York University wanting feedback about them, he was part of the team who had put them up. Interesting the conversation you can have about pollen, apparently the ones which cause hay fever have a smooth structure so they can disperse over a bigger area
Apparently this is a milestone blip number 2190, which means 6 years although I have missed quite a few days latterly I’m still managing to keep going, think I’ve surprised myself!
