Clan MacDonald

Since I have been in touch with my roots of late, I have a MacDonald Clan sticker that my truck wears now.

I have checked out my past through a couple of sites. I found my father’s side back to 1490 in Nottingham, England. I think he was 11 great grandfathers removed. Another, about 8 great grandfathers removed, is reported as “the first emigrant to the USA.” I am not sure whether to embrace that significance, or try to avoid it. I do find it interesting.
