Today I bid a fond farewell to France as I headed back home. I have had a fantastic two weeks with the family, and this wasn't dampened at all by the delay of the plane at CDG.

After being used to temperatures in the high 30s, when I stepped off the plane in a slightly overcast Newcastle, it's safe to say I was cold, and that I knew I was home!
