Banksia Rose

We have four flowering in the garden at the moment but this one is taking over the plants beside the paperbark tree so will be getting chopped back once the flowers have gone.

It’s been a good Monday, especially so because we won our case against our insurance company. Some time back I enquired as to whether we could increase the insured value for our geyser so that when it failed it could be replaced by a solar option. Value was increased and the increased premium paid.

We lodged a claim last Thursday as our geyser started to leak and were told a solar option was not possible as it was replace like for like.

But I had the evidence of the discussion and after a bit of back and forth the finally agreed to a solar replacement.

Feels good to not only get our preferred option but I didn’t have to kick up a fuss to make it happen.
