Batch cooking

A day with my son today. We decided to do some batch cooking as he works long days (6-6) with up to an hours commute so often doesn’t feel like cooking late, although he will run to pasta or a microwave potato at 10-15 mins. So we made a sausage ragu, a basic bolognaise, a sloppy Joe mix and a chicken sauce he can add to pasta or sweet potato for example . Filled the freezer with 15 portions plus 2 in the fridge for the next two days. Job done. And as we cooked we chatted and did some chores. Always a pleasure to be 1-1 with him.
