Red Stanes o Heylor

A windy day, but rain never came to much, just a couple of light showers. The sun tried to come out over lunch.

Up early, headed to work in Lerwick, got my jobs for the next few days.  On the mini essykert with Cliffy today.  We've collected plastic recycling waste this morning from Collafirth, Islesburgh, Nibon, Hamar, Heylor and Sullom.  Before lunch, we did a clinical waste collection from Scalloway and Lerwick.  Black bin waste around the town in the afternoon.  Walkies with Sammy after work, popped by Madeline's too.  A quiet evening at home, then mam and dad popped by.  Last walkies before bed.

I was thinking it was going to be a day of rain here, I had my waterproofs ready but never needed them.  As we headed up north, the clouds looked full, and looked good against this old house.  I do love the red volcanic rocks in this area, especially in these old croft houses.  Taken at the end of the Heylor road, Northmavine.
