Nicky and her Nikon

Slow signs of autumn

I woke up feeling much better today, but I am still coughing so much. It was sunny all day although we strangely has a smattering of rain this morning while the sun was shining, but that only lasted a few minutes so I had a dry walk with Xena.

I have felt stronger as the day has gone on, just the coughing is annoying. I find that hot water with freshly squeezed lemon juice and manuka honey really does work at stopping me coughing. All through this illness vitamin C, zinc, manuka honey and lemon have been my drugs of choice! (and nurofen when I had a temperature)

Last night Tommy and I watched One Life, the story about how Nicholas Winton rescued hundreds of mainly Jewish children from Czechoslovakia at the outbreak of the war. It was brilliant and very moving.

Tonight thankfully camera club is on zoom, we have Joe Houghton speaking about Lightroom. He is extremely popular although for some reason I am not a fan and as I don't use Lightroom I may prefer to finish watching Apples Never Fall which I am very much enjoying.

This was taken on Xena's second walk at about 5pm, the bracken is definitely looking autumnal but all the trees are still very green.
