The Dreaded selfie

for the student card. Managed to do that today.

I just hate showing my face on a photo. Especially if it's for something official like a passport. The pictures always look horrible.

So I have procrastinated with taking this picture,Today I finally managed to do it and in my opinion, managed a decent one.

Also started to do the work. All access for my courses had appeared Except one course that is missing from all the students. Perhaps they are updating it.

Anyway I did one report on a picture that I got to choose myself. I chose one aboriginal art piece that we have on our wall. I like that picture, and by analyzing it, learned a lot more about it. Next I need to write a report on a documentary. I have started to watch that one. I've seen it before, but it's been couple of years, so I will re-watch it. I also need to draw my favorite animal for that course. That will be a flamingo, of course. And then I need to do couple more something that I have not looked yet at this point. That course is "Art and creative expression". naturally. 


I also started my Swedish course. First we needed to valuate how much we know Swedish. I answered that not that much. Just some random lyrics. Then they asked us to write 5 sentences that we can. So I wrote part of Lena Philipsson's Det gör ont lyrics. Which is kind of funny as we train to be nurses and Det göt ont means that it hurts. When I told this to my husband, he said that I have immediately regressed to a student.

Also wrote down Sommaren är kort (by Tomas Ledin) which is Summer is short, and that it really is up here. Another famous song  up here by a Swedish singer.

I do hope the teachers appreciate my sense of humor, but I fear they will not.



I actually do like doing these reports and stuff. It's something that I have not done for a while and I'm glad to see that I can still do it. Using Windows... knowing a lot of shorts for IOS and only one for Windows (ctrl c and ctrl v and ctrl x) is a killer. I'm using IOS shorts all the time and messing my answers completely. Perhaps after few days the Windows will come back to me.
