Out to Lunch group

Blurb offers 50% off and free postage if a book is uploaded before midnight tomorrow so all systems go with the Western Balkans book. Mr C got going with his map and I checked the write-up again.

I met Vivienne, Suzie and Alison at the Haugh car park for the drive up to Elsdon where a group of us had lunch at Bird in the Bush. It was a nice one for me as I chatted to one of the women who had worked in Iran and had got the last plane out during the revolution. So interesting to hear about life there then. Alison and I had a book and art chat and with Suzie it was about her food interests and we discussed routes she and her husband could take for their trip in his Alfa Romeo to Italy. The lunch was pub grub. I had Brie and cranberry on brown bread served with salad garnish and crisps.

I called on Ros on my way home. She is doing really well now after her hip operation which is just as well as her husband has had an MRI due to legs giving way and tingling feet.
