Montreuil-sur-Mer

We had a lovely long drive north, today, with the added excitement of a warning light telling us not to go more than 2,500rpm when we were about an hour from our destination. 

I rang the garage who (predictably) told us to call roadside assistance, but we decided to proceed and stay under the recommended revs. And then, when we started the car, there was no warning light. Well, not initially, anyway, not until we strayed over a couple of thousand rpm. 

But we reached Montreuil-sur-Mer without incident, and that turned out to be a gorgeous town and the Minx had booked us into a lovely little hotel. 

We freshened up and walked into town, finding a nice bar for a drink and then somewhere nice to eat.
