Gordi Stack
For a person with bad knees, who hasn't stepped off a path since last time we were on Shetland, I think I did ok. We circumnavigated the Ness of Hillswick (which according to my GPS system on the phone is a walk of 8.4 kms, not 7.2 as it says in the book), and were met by some curious coos, as we got back to the village. Glorious weather in that part of Shetland, although it was clear that the sunshine was patchy and some parts have been shrouded in haar all day. In fact, it's closed in again here.
Gordi Stack and the Drongs (seen further out to sea) were an amazing reveal as we trudged up the western coast of the Ness (just after leaving the solar powered lighthouse at Baa Taing behind).
