Autumn glory
An unexpectedly sunny and pleasant day. After rain in the night I was surprised to see the sun this morning and it prompted me to put some washing on. ( I know how can you have more washing after two loads at the weekend?)
Just brought it in and it’s all dry.
Neither of us had a good night so we didn’t go to our usual Monday mornng sing with the Communuty Choir. We wouldn’t have had much voice and the coughing, quite rightly, would not have been appreciated. Funnily we both said our flu jab arms ached more today too.
We did go over to Guiseley for a quick M&S shop, found half the car park out of action but we did get a spot to park and stayed for a coffee before returning home.
The sun was picking out these red Hydrangeas, in the teal pots we bought back in March, in front of the house so I took this quick snap for my blip before they lose their colour. Like the way the leaves are turning colour too.
A bonus day as not only did we not get the predicted rain but it was quite warm and we’re told the cold is on it’s way for the end of the week.
