The Feast Day of Our Lady of the Rosary.

If you are not a Rosary enthusiast, perhaps you are not in that place in life to realise why Mother Mary is asking people to spend a portion of time praying it each day. I find it incredibly difficult to find that time, but it has good spiritual value on a scale we may never fully understand in this life. It has humbled me. It has helped me realise I am dependent on God's Guidance and mercy in so many ways. I know we live in a terrible situation of Catholic v Protestant but I can cope with that. The Rosary is for everyone no matter their denomination and it goes back in history to Saint Dominic receiving the first Rosary from Mother Mary. It is a happy celebration of devotion to Jesus and Mary for all they do from the Heaven beyond this Earth life.

Thankfully, today has begun beautiful and sunny. It is at the same time very cold 11c but feels like 9c and an hour of heating took the edge off the feeling of misery generated by that morning chilling temperature.

I am listening to Katherine Ruonala preaching on godtv, and sharing how the Lord deserves our gratitude and glory for healing people who, well qualified doctors knew not how to heal. It is a great joy to hear. Recommended listening. The Bible Old Testament reference Katherine Ruonala is referring to, is 1 Samuel 1v6 to 18.
I am getting the Monday home tasks done. Cleaning windows, feeding the cats, listening to Jeremy Vine discussing current concerns in the wider world, and soon I hope to have a circular walk in my neighbourhood.
I hope the weather and the Lord is kind and merciful to you all today. I am wordless with my reaction to those suffering in floods and the aftermath of homelessness in so many places.
Thank you for visiting site today blip friends.
