A building site

No exciting photos today I am afraid, just the building site nearby.  Apparently the big corkscrew thing is for putting in deep foundations.  

 I spent half the day clearing out the girls clothes for the charity shop.  They grow so quick and so I have filled lots of bags, quite satisfying.  Went for a walk with a friend and then popped in to see my sister and discuss the possibly going on hols with her and her family next year.  Then spent the evening trying to help B with her spelling.  They have 10 spellings per week and one of hers this week was synonym, which I though was a very difficult word for a 7 year old, especially one who is not very good at spelling.  That tested my patience somewhat.  It's strange as I's spellings are much easier and she is a year ahead.
