My dad will not stop banging on about how terrible electric cars are because you have to stop for longer to charge them up. Frankly I see this as a positive. The drive back up from Yorkshire to Fife lead to decent breaks from driving, and arriving home with no knackeredness from the drive.

And a stop had to be made at Tebay. By the time we'd wandered in, nipped to the loo, done a little shopping, and wandered back to the car, we were up over 90% and free to go on our way again. So time lost = 0.
