A Trip Out

There was a craft fair at the Howden Park Centre this weekend.
We went up for the last hour or so when it would be quieter.
Walking round it became apparent that more of the crafts consist of commercial products like stickers and prints being stuck onto other commercial products like jars, trays and frames. Yes - there were nice things but......
There certainly weren't many people starting with 'raw' products like wool or thread, paint or handmade ceramics...and definitely nothing made from wood.
However, we did meet up with Liz who used to run the Craft Association (before Covid killed it). She was telling me that the small fair up at Harburn  is on next month. I hadn't heard anything from the lady that used to organise it but apparently she had trouble with her e-mail system and had lost some e-mail addresses .... so I have sent her one to see if there are any tables left.
