Bat Beers

We travelled to Guildford today for our friend Nigel’s 60th birthday party. We took over the top floor of All Bar One, with a big group of his friends. The friends we were with have known Nigel (and Annie) roughly 30 years now. He had an old childhood friend along who had a photo of him at a young age in a Batman outfit, and also brought an up to date version of it. Nige looked great in it, and apparently went on from the pub clubbing with his kids, still wearing the mask. He was very popular.

For his birthday we bought with our three sets of friends 15 bottles of local beer each, to make 60 in total. They are from local breweries near us - from around the country.
