Une plume sous la pluie

It was raining when I got up this morning, quite a contrast with yesterday. But it brightened up in the afternoon, so I went for a quick walk with a podcast, from which I got distracted taking photos of wet flowers (extra) and other objects. A bit annoying that my DOF was too shallow, so the end of the feather is not quite as sharp as it could be, but this photo pleased me anyway. And it is sharper in large!

Other than that a quiet day. I've been reading the next book group book, Helen Dunmore's Exposure, and am about to have a bowl of potage bonne femme. It's raining again. And I still haven't lit the fire!
