Good Gourd!

These are two of the last seven gourds we harvested Friday. I lined them up on the wall in the backyard where we can admire their cute and colorful shapes. Behind these two you can see the peonies which have since disappeared. I cut them back along with Joe Pye weed and hauled them away using a tarp. The yard is becoming more bare and spacious by the day! • Our lone swallowtail cat is eating and looking spry and healthy • Acorns are dropping so the race is on to collect a few to save for the dear deer and squirrels this winter • Enjoy the last of the weekend • Peace & Love
