Sporadic

An early start as I had to drop Himself off at 0700 to do some course set up and I had to be ready to do baggage drop at 0730. It was a glorious sunrise, which I took no photos of as I was driving!

The club race went well, my achilles (that I strained on Sunday and then felt again yesterday) held up although I did use it as an excuse to walk up the two steepest (short) hills. Sadly I was nowhere near first in age today, the woman who got that was about 15 minutes in front of me (and probably only just in the age group).   We raised over £340 for the local hospice in cake sales, which was good (and all of mine was eaten).

Lunch with the Not Children afterwards was fun . Sadly the pub service was a bit sporadic but the food was good. Mine was anyway.
