A walk in the park

Today, the park we walked in was Locke Park in Redcar!

Neighbour J and I had been talking about photos, Blip and suchlike. He mentioned Redcar Marshes, one to visit. And suggested Locke Park as also being suitable to take the dogs. Would I like to pop out for an hour today?

Off we went just before 10am and although starting to get busy with families and children, it was perfect. The wildlife had not yet scurried back to their hidey holes and round by the boating lake I got some good shots of various swans, geese and ducks.

However this chap won out for blip. I should think they are quite used to people and he was content to sit still long enough for me at least :-)

Quick cuppa in the cafe there, then home and got on with chores for the rest of the day. Few bits in the garden before the rain started -  which it has now done, but I did managed to keep dry on the evening dog walk. Just.
