Parasola

Spotted these little fungi while I was out with Caspar walking Drift and his dad’s two boisterous dogs, Digby and Crumble. We walked round the recreation ground in the drizzly rain with them, I spent most of the time trying to dodge out of the way of the two large dogs chasing each other to avoid getting knocked over! It seems these little mushrooms are Parasola, which seems very apt. We had a trip to Caspar’s allotment to see how his cover crop is faring this morning, the answer is, very good. Lots of people’s allotments still have lots of colour and produce but Caspar’s is closed down for the winter
