Greeny

The green woodpecker was back again today, enjoying the benefits of our back lawn caddis fly farm. The conditions were a bit dark and gloomy but he still got close enough for me to be able to take this shot of him hopping about.

I had my winter flu and covid jabs yesterday.  I'm not someone with a fear of needles, and the whole process was over and done with in less than 5 minutes from arrival to departure.  I've had a lot of vaccinations recently, in preparation for a trip later in the year, and generally speaking I've felt fine afterwards, even with the yellow fever jab.  But the combination of the covid and flu jabs have left me feeling very slightly under the weather today - so I'm trying to take things a little easy as a result. I feel a Sunday afternoon snooze on the sofa coming on ... bliss!
