Looking West

Boy but the days are getting shorter! The sun was setting as I left the golf course about half six, took me quite by surprise. Anyway, the first competitive test with the new driver ….. was great! Well, maybe not great great but way way better than I’d expected and I turned in my best score for a long time. It’s a keeper! Now I need to work on the rest of my game but the season’s over in a week and it’ll be back to Winter golf: mats, mud, dodgy greens, dodgy weather. All the excuses I’ll need!
And it was the last day of our Fitness Booster so it’s back to normal tomorrow, though not fully as we’ve got leftover food to use up, including that marrow. Sigh.
