Low water, Strandshag Bay

I was surprised how low the water is in Derwentwater - especially considering the Summer we've suffered. But I suppose we've had relatively little rain over the past month.

Water levels are almost down at typical May levels. According to the forecasts they might be getting "restored" next week :-((

Nice to see a couple of crepuscular rays at the top of the pic though.
