Autumn Gold

The rudbeckia at the allotment are still in full bloom. I grew these from seeds and they’ve grown prolifically. The bees and other insects seem to have enjoyed feeding off them.

As I worked at the allotment today I noticed a hedgehog wandering through the strawberry plants. It looked healthy and I suspect it is a young one from this year as it seemed quite small. Hopefully it will manage to put on some weight and successfully hibernate.

This evening we enjoyed one of Andy’s curries for dinner and caught up with this week’s Bake Off.
