We met up with an old university friend and her family for a few lovely hours today  - it hardly felt like nearly twenty years had gone by since we last clapped eyes on each other. Plenty of good chats and food and drink and we gladly filled our roles of Edinburgh tour guides 'til it was time to leave them.

A teatime trip to the flicks for the new Joker film. I loved the first one, this one I'm not so sure about. No spoilers, I'll say no more, but...yeah, I'm just not convinced that it really worked.
