Coniston

I’d slept well and needed to get out.
I drove alongside Ullswater, up Kirkstone Pass, down The Struggle to Ambleside and onto Chester’s by the River. Stopping along the way for photos. We decided to have an early lunch. Tom tucked into cauliflower korma. I had a massive onion, kale, chilli and pepper bhaji with mango chutney. All delicious.
Tom wanted to go to Coniston. We walked to the boating club and pier. The extra is a shot of the steam gondola sailing in. Old Man Coniston looked glorious in the autumn sunshine.
There were lots of people out enjoying the Lakes.
It’s been a good day.
