Crossing da Valder

A fairly cloudy day, the odd brighter spell, breezy too.  Rain started this evening. 

A good snooze this morning, up at 9am.  Walkies with Sammy after breakfast, then a morning puttering about the house.  Headed down the road in the afternoon, mam and Laura both out, but popped by big bro Jonny for a cuppa.  A quiet evening at home and last walkies of the day. 

Jonny had already set out for a hike when I phoned him, but he came back to meet me and Sammy.  Jonny was very accommodating for Sammy, the hike was slower, and he cut it short for him too, but still enjoyable and Sammy did great, keeping to the easiest routes.  Even aged 16, Sammy still loves for his big adventures, and he's been here many times.  Sammy following Jonny down the Valders, heading to Glasher Houlls, Fladdabister.
