From the other side

The Golden Arrow did run again, this time from Norfolk to Canterbury West. I thought it was supposed to be in the charge of West Country Class Brauton. No so, Britannia was at the head, helped along by Class 47 “Robert Hoskins MA” at the rear. A splendid sight and sound again.

Beautiful weather today. I was at the allotment this afternoon doing a bit of tidying up. The no dig beds have fared very well over the past few weeks while we’ve not been there. A few weeds and marestails both of which didn’t cause too much work.

Saturday evening starts shortly. I’m on the railway tomorrow so you may get another steamy blip
