Italian treat

End of term and a day off

Spent the day looking at and test driving cars - liked them all but sticking with Citroen in the end, just not quite the same as what I've got. Not sure when I'm getting it but it's on order :-) Probably not the right thing to do when I am unsure about my job but it's my treat!

It was so hot that by the time we went to pick Lottie up from school I was exhausted! Had a nice chat with Mrs Napier who liked her cake - she was full of praise for Charlotte which is always good to hear!

We had asked Charlotte what she wanted as a treat for her excellent school report and she said she would like to go to Bella Roma for tea so we had booked it for tonight. If it had been down to me I would have cancelled it and rearranged for another night but she was so excited to be going.

The food was good but it was just too hot and I thought I was going to pass out at one point! This is her with her chocolate fudge cake, which needless to say she didn't finish - but she enjoyed her treat, and her play in the fountain later!
