Model Playing Field

I spent some time walking the walls of Conwy in search of some views upon which to do a miniature or tilt shift effect, like this one. Thing is, when I took that photo I was using the in-camera Miniature Mode on my GF3. Aaand the G1 doesn't have one of those.

It isn't so very difficult to create the effect afterwards, in an editing program (loads of tutorials out there) but when I got to that stage I found that most of the images I'd taken weren't great subjects for the effect. I've certainly learned a bit in the process of discovering that, but next time I want to take a miniaturised image I'll probably just rely on my camera's mode for that. More effective and less time consuming.
