Broken rules

Backblipped, after a lovely night round at Amanda and Kenny's. Good company, good food, good drink and comfy chairs - it doesn't get much better than that :-)

I've broken at least 2 rules with this shot:

Broken rule number 1: when taking a profile portrait, it is best to have the subject looking into the frame. This gives a sense of balance.

Broken rule number 2: when taking a portrait, use a moderate telephoto lens. This gives a more natural perspective.

Rules are there to be broken :-)
