Chaffinch

Sitting on a hawthorn tree in Kings Park. An early-ish start for a walk to and round Kings Park. Very mild and no wind but not much in the way of sunshine. Flora ran and ran so she is now tired. I've done about 5 miles. 

Stopped for coffee in the museum cafe and saw some of the embroidery exhibition. Meticulous work. 

This afternoon I have a huge pile of donated apples to deal with and as always in autumn garden tidying to attend to. I'm enjoying a day of pottering.
