Slains Castle

Another packed day out, starting with a tour round Fyvie Castle and its fascinating history of kings and queens, fortunes won and lost and collections of portraits and arms and armour. Then to Fraserburgh to wander round the harbour and walk along the beach and dunes. On the way back we stopped at the ruins of Slains Castle on a cliff top outside Peterhead and many photos were taken in the late evening light.
